Born in France, Joséphine Viggers (14) now lives in Singapore.
I am a passionate young woman with a strong sense of justice. I hold myself and others around me to the highest standards… and I love to pick up litter!
My engagement with Children For The Oceans began following a litter-picking campaign that I began on Pulau Besar off the coast of Malaysia. I engaged passers-by and the local NGO Tengah Island Conservation to help collect and remove from the island litter that would otherwise have been burnt in situ.
More recently, I have helped "Dive Against Debris", a collective featuring Singapore NGO Our Singapore Reefs, dive club The Submersibles and Jackson Square Aviation, that regularly joins forces to clear debris from the seabed off Singapore’s Southern reefs.
